Katie- Head Coach and Founder
Katie Potts, the founder and head coach, brings over 14 years of coaching experience to our school. Her love for acrobatics began at the age of 3, leading her to a competitive gymnastics career at just 6 years old. With an impressive 9 British Champion titles and the honour of representing Great Britain in 2012 and 2016, Katie has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the sport.
Katie’s coaching journey has been just as remarkable as her competitive one. She has coached a wide range of disciplines—from recreational gymnastics to competitive acrobatics and circus arts. In 2022, she served as head coach for her team at EuroGym, and she has also collaborated with theatre professionals to seamlessly integrate acrobatics into stage productions. Katie is passionate about helping individuals surpass their own expectations and achieve goals they never thought possible.
Corin- Assistant Coach
Corin brings an incredible depth of experience to Empower Movement Company, with over 13 years training in gymnastics. During her career, she competed at the highest levels, becoming a multiple-time British Champion with her team and representing Great Britain in Venice, where they were crowned Mid European Champions.
Her passion for the sport shines through in her coaching, especially when it comes to her favourite apparatus, the floor, where she loved the artistry and expression of movement. She also enjoyed vault and tumbling.
