Adult Classes

At Empower Movement Company we believe it’s never too late to start moving, learning, and achieving new physical goals. Our adult acrobatics classes are designed for everyone—whether you’re a complete beginner or have previous experience in acrobatics, dance or gymnastics. We provide a welcoming, inclusive environment where adults of all fitness levels and abilities can challenge themselves, build strength, and have fun.

All Skill Levels and Abilities Welcome

Whether you're trying acrobatics for the first time or looking to refine existing skills, our adult classes are adaptable to meet your needs. Our experienced coaches are here to guide you through each step of your acrobatic journey, offering personalised instruction and support no matter your starting point. We create a space where you can move at your own pace and reach your goals—whether that's mastering a handstand, improving flexibility, or learning a completely new skill.

Fun and Supportive Coaching

We know that starting something new can be intimidating, which is why our coaching approach is focused on encouragement and positivity. Our coaches are experienced in working with adults and understand the unique challenges of learning acrobatics as an adult. We’re here to celebrate your progress, help you overcome obstacles, and ensure you’re having fun throughout the process. You’ll leave every class feeling stronger, more capable, and more energised.

What to Expect from Our Classes

Each of our adult acrobatics classes is carefully structured to provide a full-body workout while focusing on developing specific skills. Here’s what you can expect during a typical session:

  • Warm-Up: We begin with a dynamic warm-up to increase your heart rate, loosen your  muscles, and prepare your body for acrobatic movements. The warm-up is      designed to improve mobility, coordination, and strength while reducing      the risk of injury.
  • Skills-Specific Training: After warming up, you’ll work on a variety of acrobatic      movements tailored to your skill level. Whether it’s learning foundational      techniques like rolls and handstands, or advancing to more complex      tumbling and balancing, our coaches provide guidance and modifications to      ensure you're working within your comfort zone while progressing at your      own pace.
  • Routine      Building: As you gain confidence with individual movements, you’ll      have the opportunity to put them together into sequences or routines. This      helps you develop fluidity, coordination, and creativity in your movement.      Whether you're aiming to perform or simply want to challenge yourself,      routine building allows you to see how far you've come.
  • Cool      Down & Stretch: To close each session, we guide you through a cool      down and stretching routine. This not only aids in recovery but also      improves flexibility and prevents injury, leaving you feeling refreshed      and relaxed.

Our adult acrobatics classes are truly for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or experience. We believe in the power of movement to boost not only physical strength and flexibility but also confidence and mental well-being.
